One of my most favorite parks in Southwest Florida. This is a great place to spend time with your family for a few hours for a minimal amount of money. The park has several historical buildings which depict the life of the Koreshan people (a religious sect trying to establish the "new Jerusalem") as well as hiking trails, picnic areas and canoe rentals. Entrance to the park is $5 per car and canoe rentals are $5 per canoe for 1 hour. Ranger guided tours of the Koreshan historic settlement are on Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00 am, otherwise you can feel free to explore the settlement on your own.
