The pool is located at 8208 Sanibel Blvd in San Carlos Park.Summer Pool Hours are Monday - Thursday 11:00- 4:30, Friday and Saturday 9:00-4:30 and Sunday 1:00-5:45. Tuesday and Thursday also offer evening hours of 7:00-8:45. The pool includes a couple of picnic shelters and grills, beach chairs, two small water slides, water basket ball area, and lap swimming. Picnic - Sugden Regional Park - Naples

We're packing up and heading to Naples today!! Bringing a barbecue/picnic to one of our favorite spots, Sugden Regional Park. This park is located at 4284 Avalon Drive in East Naples. It has several picnic shelters with grills, a playground, hiking paths, paddleboat and canoe rentals, a pier, and a wonderful beach where families can swim in one of the counties few fresh water lakes. Canoeing on the Estero River - Estero, FL - Koreshan State Park

One of my most favorite parks in Southwest Florida. This is a great place to spend time with your family for a few hours for a minimal amount of money. The park has several historical buildings which depict the life of the Koreshan people (a religious sect trying to establish the "new Jerusalem") as well as hiking trails, picnic areas and canoe rentals. Entrance to the park is $5 per car and canoe rentals are $5 per canoe for 1 hour. Ranger guided tours of the Koreshan historic settlement are on Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00 am, otherwise you can feel free to explore the settlement on your own. Orange Juice and Ice Cream - Fort Myers - Sun Harvest Citrus

This is a quick activity which you may want to pair with something else you are doing for the day in Fort Myers, however it involves orange juice and ice cream - two of my favorite things! Sun Harvest Citrus is located off of Six Mile Cypress Blvd in Fort Myers, FL. It is a small packing and shipping facility for citrus products in the area which also includes a gift shop. The gift shop sells orange juice and many other local products and also provides free juice samples (may I suggest the Orange Strawberry or the Lemonade). They also have a counter that sells baked goods as well as soft serve ice cream. Currently they are running a special for Buy One Get One on Their Soft Serve Ice Cream. Great Rainy Day Activity - Naples, FL - Collier County Museum

Gotta love the rain that we are getting from wonderful tropical storm Andrea. Fortunately it looks like we are in the clear and will just get a little wind and rain. No reason to stay cooped up all day!! Collier County offers a fantastic museum off of Airport Pulling Rd and 41 (Naples) in the government complex. This museum has many artifacts and exhibits that depict the history of the county. The best part is admission is FREE!! They do however accept donations. Hours for the Collier County Museum are Monday - Friday 9am-5pm.
